Another survey up on the Thames today. Highlight was the two overwintering
Twite showing well in their usual favoured area associating with a flock of c160
Linnet.

On our way home we called into Henfield Levels where we were treated to great views of the
Glossy Ibis (down to 50m), my first scarce bird of 2020 and only my second ever in Sussex, the last being the Cuckmere bird in 2019. Also of note here was a hunting
Barn Owl, c300
Lapwing and a
Bullfinch.
